I almost agree with the report, because they really show the Chinese lives.
1. At 80 China sits in the higher rankings of PDI. A man should work hard in China; sometimes he must go to many meetings or parties, so he will have less time to stay at home. During the meetings or parties, he also should follow the leader.
2. The MAS in China is 66, which means China is a masculine society. People wish they can be successful, so it’s a common thing that people work until 10:00pm.
3. China has a low score on uncertainty avoidance at 30. In China, poems are very short, but most of them have deep meaning. Chinese like trying to understand the undefined poems or articles.
4. The long-term orientation in China is 118. It is properly a high score. Now day, many companies in China just pay salary once a year, so lots of Chinese should arrange their money for the whole year.
However, ONLY one point that I can’t agree with is Individualism. I think Chinese more care about them. They more pay a attention to relationship than task and company. For instant, during the Wen Chuan earthquake, many people give up their work and go to Wen Chuan save people.
I like this topic, and I think we can communicate our culture together. It will help us to understand the difference between different countries.
